Emily & Nathan Rottier

Arusha, Tanzania

For nearly a decade, Emily and Nathan Rottier have served with YWAM in Arusha, Tanzania, using sports, primarily football (American soccer) as a tool to disciple men who go on to transform their communities for the Gospel. Young men who once felt forgotten and disqualified are now walking confidently, seeking God’s call in their lives.

Emily and Nathan are currently involved in building the 17:6 Football Academy – a residential discipleship and football training program for boys to live and train year-round. Their goal is to train up a new generation of young, courageous leaders, equipped and trained to “disrupt darkness and bring the Kingdom into every area of life.”

Pray for the Rottiers

  • Pray for wisdom and discernment in selecting the right boys and leaders for the academy

  • Pray for continued provision as they pursue God’s calling in their lives

Charles & Eunice Victor

Vellore, India

The Lord called Charles & Eunice Victor to serve in India starting in 2010. They have planted a church as the home base of their operations in serving the poor, needy, and destitute among them. Their service to their community is large and ever-expanding as the Lord leads and needs arise and includes caring for housing abandoned children, equipping single mothers, feeding the hungry and elderly, educating people hungry for the Holy Spirit, serving a leper colony, and reaching those with disabilities that are left behind and fall through the cracks of their society. Additionally, Eunice runs a small business, “Sweet Aroma,” a soap company, she created to empower women to work, learn skills, and make a living wage for themselves.

Pray for Charles & Eunice Victor

  • Pray for God to continue to give the grace to stand strong in their calling, even in adversity and pushback

  • Pray for the Lord to send co-workers (volunteer teams and individuals) to help meet the growing need and into the harvest

  • Pray for God to open up more doors to share His Good News in India

Paul & Susi Childers

Kona, Hawaii & Global

Susi & Paul Childers have served with YWAM for over 30 years and since 2003 they have called the YWAM Kona Campus “home base” while they minister globally. They are both active in serving the Hawaiian community and serving their local church when at home and both hold leadership positions at the University of the Nations.

Globally, Paul leads Word By Heart, a school that enables people to learn large portions of God’s Word by heart, which is now in operation in 25 different nations. Paul also leads YWAM’s Oral Mother Tongue Bible Translation Project, with its first full translation scheduled to be completed this year and seven more to be completed in the next 12 months.

Susi leads Voice for the Voiceless Ministry, which supports the suffering church, particularly in North and sub-Saharan Africa, aiding widows and orphans of men who have been killed because of their faith in Jesus. She is a prominent photojournalist who documents her work as a storyteller, giving voice to those who have none.

Pray for the Childers Family

  • Pray for safety for the Childers Family, whose travels often take them to dangerous locations

  • Pray for wisdom and discernment in prioritizing their time and commitments

  • Pray for continued financial provision to carry out their missions as they walk by faith

Christ for India

Chennai, India

Christ for India is an organization founded in 1962 by Dr. and Mrs. Manuel Fernando, who was affectionately referred to as “the Billy Graham of India.” Christ for India currently feeds 1000+ children monthly, evangelizes to the most remote parts of India, offers orphanage care, child sponsorship programs, mass crusades, Bible distribution, and Gospel literature. They will also be adding to their existing Bible School to train and equip even more pastors to reach India (complete with free tution and free room and board), and a nursing school to equip nurses to care for the vast physical needs of people. This past year, Christ for India has added a dozen more pastors to their staff to meet the needs and evangelize to the country, especially in remote villages.

Pray for Christ for India

  • Pray for the safety and effectiveness of evanglism efforts, as Christianity is aggressively opposed throughout India.

  • Pray for continued support as various projects are underway to train and equip more leaders to send into India for the Gospel

  • Pray for the financial provision and vision necessary to send pastors out to reach remote villages
